Jean-Jo immigrated to Canada in 1988 and got his MBA from the University of Ottawa in 1991. He returned to international development working as a Senior Consultant coordinating large international projects until 1998, when he moved to Kingston, Jamaica to be the Program Manager of ENACT (Environmental Action) program, a capacity development in environment program funded by CIDA and the Government of Jamaica. • Reinvest 0.7% of its revenue in microfinance through the operator Kiva (kiva.org): Jean-Joseph Bellamy's portfolio of loans can be seen here. Contributions are loaned to Borrowers interest free and once the loans are repaid, the fund is reinvested into other loans.

  • Reduce his carbon foot-print: As an extensive traveller, Jean-Joseph Bellamy is looking into reducing his carbon foot-print. No actions have taken place yet but the plan is to carbon off-set the flights by investing in solar/alternative energy (possibly for his own consumption) and/or in carbon reduction program such as forest plantations.
